Welcome to the 2nd annual PADS Professional Student Design challenge, the most prestigious design contest in PCB electronics design for individuals and student design teams. PADS Professional is the cutting-edge tool for student innovators interested in electronics design. Submit a design created in PADS Professional Student Edition for your opportunity to win awesome technology gear! Also, the Top-5 ranked student designs will receive a “PCB Design Excellence” certificate signed by the Senior Vice President of the Electronic Board System division of Siemens Digital Industries Software.
This year, entrants can submit any electronics design they feel highlights their PCB design knowledge and engineering skills. You must use PADS Professional Student Edition for your design. A panel of Siemens experts will score your design based on criteria including design complexity, manufacturability, and PCB design best practices.
